About Rob…

Rob Armstrong has been around the world covering some of the biggest sports events in the calendar for online platforms and broadcast television for several years.

A keen follower on the terraces for his whole life, Rob’s understanding of sports culture and what it’s like to be a fan defines the way he approaches his work.

Starting out on YouTube presenting and producing for The Football Republic, Rob gained many of his skills while working on digital platforms, quickly grasping what worked for online audiences and growing the YouTube channel to 500,000 subscribers with approximately a million views per week.

Rob then moved on to BT Sport (now TNT Sports) where he would produce and present digital and broadcast content across football, boxing, WWE and cricket.

Comfortable in high pressure scenarios, on-air, in front of a live audience, or just a casual chat; Rob prides himself on being a safe pair of hands in any situation, with a relaxed, humorous style which is capable of bringing the best out of anyone that he shares the set with - on camera or off camera.

A decade of producing within the digital and broadcast space has given him an understanding of what is required for everyone involved in the production, whether it’s in the live gallery, or in the post production edit.
